SUPPORTED LIVING ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES

This supported living service is a large, terraced house over 3 levels, all individuals have their own bedrooms, sharing all other facilities including ground floor toilet & sink, 1st floor bathroom with bath/shower/toilet/sink. Fully fitted kitchen and utility room (washing machine & dryer), separate lounge/dining room.
There are four service users currently living at this house, with around the clock person-centred support being provided in meeting the needs of the service users in all areas of daily life.

This service is based in Prestwich village, very close to local supermarkets, buses & trams into Manchester & Bury, library, health centre and shops are to undergo extensive regeneration in the next few years, providing further housing, travel hub, community hub, market hall, food hall and retail units, incorporating a public square.
Our Support
Our aim is to provide individuals with the appropriate level of support so they are able to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible, this through our dedicated team of five support staff who provide the service users with:

All aspects of personal care need, in promoting dignity and respect.

Support around budgeting and managing their personal finances.

Support around gaining employment and/or in volunteering and/or enrolment on to college courses.

Support with shopping and health and welfare appointments.

Administering medication, and in promoting self-medication where possible.

All aspects of daily living skills, and appropriate exercise.
Our Support Workers
All staff meet the requirements in respect of the Fundamental Standards in relation to the CQC (Care Quality Commission) by receiving appropriate training.
