JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Title:                        Finance Administration Officer 

Hours:                     16        

Responsible to:      Finance Manager 

Salary:                     Up to £26,500 (pro rata) Dependant on experience and qualifications

Location:                  Outreach Main Office (Radcliffe, Bury.

 

Summary 

Outreach Community & Residential Services are a charity, providing residential and community services for adults who have a learning disability and/or mental health need, and we are looking for a part time Finance administrator to assist the Finance Manager with day to day management of our financial systems.

 

Key Tasks

 

Ø  To maintain the organisations sales and purchase ledgers 

Ø  To enter transactions in cash accounts

Ø  To assist with the monthly payroll.

Ø  To work on Excel tasks to analyse information.

Ø  To prioritise their own work load to given deadlines

Ø  To maintain confidentiality and GDPR regulations.

Ø  To work within Outreach’s policies and procedures.

Ø  To undertake appropriate training and actively attend meetings and reflection meetings as and when required.

Ø  To be proactive in the development, evaluation and monitoring of administration and personnel procedures and systems.

Ø  To undertake other appropriate tasks/duties as directed.

 

Requirements

The applicant must have some experience of entering financial information.

Knowledge of Sage accounts would be an advantage.

The role will start with 2 days per week – flexible working once applicant has completed induction and probationary period. Full training will be given.
